Needles' Bermuda Hat, the short-brimmed six-panel the label has run season after season, in a poly jacquard knitted with the house butterfly: green papillon motifs set in a cross-stitch grid across a deep purple ground, edge to edge over crown and brim. The front carries the butterfly again as a tonal purple embroidery, raised out of the jacquard rather than contrasted against it. Black lining, made in Japan for Nepenthes.
The label is the gold Needles script on black, over a care tag reading KP046, size L, shell and lining polyester 100%, embroidery rayon 100%, made in Japan, at Nepenthes' Jingumae address. Listed as a L.
Condition: no flaws found. The jacquard is unpulled with no snags at the brim edge, the embroidery is full, the lining is clean, and the hat holds its shape.
