A two-eyelet moccasin-toe lace-up in a long-nap hairy suede, the kind left rough and unbrushed so the pile stands up and catches light. The body is a marigold orange with a deeper rust suede counter wrapped round the heel, hand-stitched across the apron toe, lined and bound in tan leather with a tan leather footbed, and laced through two eyelets on rust round cords. The upper is stitched down to a cream wedge midsole with the stitch line showing all the way round, and the outsole is a moulded cream lug. Diemme has made shoes in One di Fonte in the Veneto since 1992, both under its own name and for other houses, and this is the alpine-shoe construction on a soft moccasin last.
The label reads TF for DIEMME stamped into both insoles and 09/21 42 MADE IN ITALY inside the tongue, dating them to September 2021. Listed as a US 9.
Condition: no flaws found. The lug soles are crisp and unmarked, the nap is even across both shoes with no crushing or bald patches, and the tan footbeds show no wear.
