The label reads HELMUT LANG, shell 100% lamb leather, trim 100% cotton, style HLW48561, made in Turkey, size 4. Professional leather cleaner only. Worth saying plainly: this is the label as it has run since 2006, under Fast Retailing, rather than a piece designed by Helmut Lang himself - he left in 2005. Turkish production, a consolidated care tag and a US size run all place it there. The waist comes to 29 inches around; we list it as a 26 waist, because the rise sits low on the hip rather than at the waist.
Condition: the leather is supple and even in colour across both legs, with the light surface creasing lamb takes at the knee and hip. Cream leather shows everything, so look closely at the photographs.
