A black cotton herringbone trouser cut wide and straight, and worked far harder than the front lets on. Zipped pockets set into both thighs, slash hand pockets, seams shaped through the knee so the leg holds its line, and at the back two welt pockets with buttons above a second pair of large patch pockets on the thighs.
The label reads A.A.R Yohji Design Studio, size XL, colour 99, 100% cotton, sold by D'urban and made in China. A.A.R stands for Against All Risks: it is a Yohji Yamamoto diffusion line made with D'urban, a Japanese suitmaker. It is not the mainline Yohji Yamamoto label and is not priced as though it were. The waist comes to 34.5 inches around, so we list it as a 34 waist rather than by the Japanese XL on the label.
Condition: excellent. The black is even with no greying or sun-fade, and the zips and knee seams are unworn.
