Levi's 501 worn down to a soft, high-contrast mid blue, with honeycombing behind the knee and whiskering at the hip that came from wearing rather than from a finishing machine. Button fly, five pockets, belt loops, the arcuate on both back pockets and the red tab at the right-hand pocket.
The hems have been cut and left raw, so the leg now frays where it was chopped. That is the piece as it is - an alteration someone made deliberately, not damage, and it is why the original 36 inch inseam is no longer the inseam. We list the waist only for that reason.
The care label reads 100% cotton, made in USA, WPL 423, with the lot number 501-0000 and the string 027 cs08 04 544 1198 26441-6. The -0000 suffix is the rigid shrink-to-fit 501, so this pair started life as raw denim and the fade on it was earned. The leather waistband patch is gone.
Condition: inspected in hand and no flaws found. The cut hems are even and were done deliberately - the raw edge is the finish on this pair, not a blowout.
