The Meteor Runner is Lanvin's read on a late-eighties road shoe: low, flat through the heel, panelled in suede over open mesh with a moulded foam midsole and a flat black outsole. This is the Parme colourway, lavender goatskin suede laid over a paler lilac mesh, with a black moulded toe bumper and a black cage across the midfoot, a deeper purple chevron running back along the outside, METEOR printed across the forefoot in a logotype with the E reversed, and LANVIN debossed into the suede at the heel and again along the white midsole wall. Flat white laces through a black webbing lace keep.
The label reads REF: FM-SKIP00-NASU-A24, METEOR RUNNER, COL: 7670 PARME/VIOLET MAUVE/PURPLE VIOLETTO/VIOLA, TAILLE/SIZE 43 on the box, with the SSENSE tag beside it reading 43_Lanvin_Lanvin_METEOR_RUNNER, FM-SKIP00-NASU-A24. The A24 dates it to Autumn/Winter 2024. Listed as a US 10.
Condition: the white midsole has greyed and scuffed along the toe and around the outer edges on both shoes, and there is light soiling on the suede at the inner heel of the right shoe. The suede nap is otherwise even, the mesh is clean and unsnagged, and the outsoles show little wear. Comes with the box.
