Hooded suede coat, shearling lined, made in Finland

A black suede coat cut to mid-thigh, lined throughout in a dense black shearling that turns back at the cuffs and fills the hood. Leather piping runs along the panel seams, the front closes on covered snaps, and there is a zip at each side seam. Heavy in the hand and built to be.

The care labels are in Finnish, Swedish, German and English, and give the origin as made in Finland. There is no maker's name anywhere on the coat - that was established by reading all three labels rather than by failing to read one, so it is an unbranded piece rather than an unidentified one. The size tag is a four-country conversion reading D 34 / F 36 / USA 6 / GB 8 for a height of 164-170 cm; a US 6 is a US S, which is how we list it.

Condition: no flaws found. The suede has an even nap with no bald patches at the cuffs or pocket edges, the shearling is clean and unmatted, and the snaps all hold.
